"Eridanus" is located in the area of Keramikos, at 78 Piraeus street, right across the archaeological site with the very same name.
The area of Keramikos is very significant, from both a historical and cultural point of view, for its archaeological value and its leading role in modern day Athens, since it is one of the city's most emerging areas.
The city's down town area enjoys all the facilities available in European capitals, both in the daytime and at night, thus gratifying visitors every interest.
One of Eridanus Hotel's greatest advantages is its proximity to the unified archaeological sites of Athens (including Keramikos, Thissio, the Acropolis, the Pillars of Olympic Zeus etc.), comprising one of the largest, and certainly most unique, promenades in Europe, if not in the world, from a cultural as well as a historical (archaeological) viewpoint.
Modern cultural Athens is also right outside the hotel's door, with the Athens Concert Hall, the Opera house, many of the city's museums, theatres and movie theatres, as well as other cultural event facilities located only a short distance away or a stroll further from "Eridanus".
Over the past few years, three areas in Athens are considered to be the most "fun" for coffee, food, drink, singing, dancing, etc. These areas offer numerous and diverse shops and include Psiri, Gazi and Rouf. They too are at close proximity to Eridanus Hotel and some can be reached by foot.
On the other hand, there is always Plaka, Monastiraki and Thissio, comprising classic destinations for visitors in Athens, having made an impressive comeback in the limelight of both daytime and nighttime entertainment. All three are literally located right outside the hotel.
