Hotel description

The hotel is hosted in a neoclassical building of the beginning of the 19th century. Originally it hosted the Austrian Consulate. It is located in the city with an extraordinary view of the Gulf of Chania and within walking distance of the Venetian harbour.

It has been a hotel for the last 30 years. Today, it has been fully renovated.

It is well-known for its warmth, friendly atmosphere and Greek hospitality. Prominent politicians and artists have chosen Doma for their vacations in Chania.

The rooms are furnished with simplicity and taste with all the modern comfort, including a bathroom. They all have a view either of the sea or the hotel garden.

Location

Doma is located outside the walls of the old Venetian harbour with a breathtaking view of the Bay in Chania.
When arriving in Chania with the ferry, the distance from the port of Souda is approximately 15 minutes by car, the distance from the airport of Chania in Akrotiri is about the same.Walking from the hotel to the Venetian harbour would take you some 20 minutes.

The view from our exclusive top-floor suite is magnificent. This suite is furnished with all the extra comfort expected, including a private bathroom, hairdryer, central heating, air-conditioning, telephone and a mini-bar
On the first floor there are two additional suites. They also have private bathrooms, hairdryers, central heating, air-conditioning, telephone, television and a mini-bar. They either overlook the sea or the hotel garden.

With twenty rooms to choose from, you can enjoy the fascinating view of the sea or for those who prefer, relax with a view of our garden.
All the rooms have a private shower, central heating, telephone, hair dryer, ceiling fan, air-condition and a television.

Food & Beverages

The dining room is decorated with Cretan antiques and photographs from a bygone era, with a splendid view of the sea. In the evenings you can enjoy local cuisine.

In the same dining room you can have breakfast with homemade sweets and marmalades.

From 21 to 14 days prior to arrival, 35% of the total will apply as cancellation fees
From 14 to 7 days prior to arrival, 50% of the total will apply as cancellation fees
From Now Show and up to 7 days prior to arrival, 100% will apply as cancellation fees
High Season (Period from 01st July – 15th September)
Up to 21 days prior to arrival, no fees apply
