The hotel of self-catering apartments 'Klio' is situated in the area of Kato Gouves. The location where the hotel was build used to be in the past a farm with plenty lemon trees.
In 1987 the hotel started as a small family business and was named after the mother of the family who owns it Mrs. Klio.
Nowadays it can accommodate for 150 guests in a clean relaxed environment.
At the hotel 'Klio' we are making every possible attempt to offer services and a product up to the expectations of the most demanding customer.
At the same time we encourage a relaxed atmosphere and a feeling of friendly mood. As a principle of the hotel we promote this friendly mood and we insist into keeping the family business atmosphere still alive.

The area of Gouves is situated in the north coast of the island 15 kilometers east of Heraklion. Gouves is located in the middle of the island and hence it is a perfect starting point for your little adventures. If on the other hand you prefer quiet relaxed holidays the hotel is only 200 meters away from a sandy beach. The resort of Gouves is developed in a scattered way ensuring tranquility; at the same time though the resort is developed to the point that it can offer all the necessary services and amenities.

The hotel 'Klio' is of self-catering accommodation type. It consists of 51 rooms, out of which 30 can accommodate for 4 persons (apartment) and 21 for two persons (studio).
The rooms have a kitchen area equipped with fridge, two hotplates kettle and kitchen utensils. In addition there is a telephone, a safety deposit box, WC and shower, private balcony or terrace and baby cot if requested. The rooms are designed in modern simplistic but ergonomic arrangement and they are very spacious. Some of the rooms are suitable for guests with a wheel chair and the hotel is fully accessible and equipped with ramps. Some rooms are air-conditioned (extra charge).

Cancellation Policy

Should you cancel this reservation, please note the following cancellation terms:

• 5 days or more before your arrival - there are no cancellation fees.
• 4 - 2 days before your arrival - 1 night will be charged as a cancellation fee.
• Less than 2 days before your arrival - 50% of the total amount will be charged for as a cancellation fee.
• Departure before the scheduled departure date - the full amount for the nights stayed will be charged for as well as 50% of the total for the nights not stayed as a cancellation fee.
