Marita’s hotel is situated on a 7000 square meter seafront area, developed with taste, with a paved walkway leading to the beach, lawns, flowerbeds and palm trees, a children’ s playground, two large size swimming pools and a beach-bar restaurant.

The garden is planted with grass. There are palm trees mainly towards the beach. The tall trees, the flowers, the cretan vegetation, the rare species of flowers you can find on the sandy beach and other details, make this land look like a piece of paradise.

The best beach of Santa Marina. It has got sandy and shallow sea, which is ideal for children, a lot of shade to protect you from the sun and a beach bar-restaurant. We have chairs and umbrellas on the beach for our clients. You can relax with a drink on the beach, while enjoying the sun set above the island of Thodorou, a protected area of the rare goat kri-kri, which lives only in Crete.

In order to have a better view, the platform of the swimming pool has been raised. It consists of an adult pool, 200 m2 and 1.80 m deep, and a seperate children’ s pool, 40 m2 and 40-60 cm deep. Between the two, we have a set of fountains. The children‘s pool is protected by the shade of palm trees. Near the pool, you can find a small playground and the restaurant, which is open all day long.

Proximity from Chania (just 6 km), and many other day-trip destinations, private parking, chairs and umrellas reserved for customers on the most popular beach of the nothern coast, make “Marita‘s” a splendid choice for all travellers.

10 light-filled one room studios (sleep up to 4) and 9 two room suites (sleep up to 4), all decorated in elegant contemporary style, open onto the landscaped garden. All rooms have private comfortable bathrooms and facilities, including air-conditioning, t.v., kitchenet, small refrigerator, hair dryer and safety deposit boxes.
 

You can have lunch in our restaurant, and for dinner you can have a bite or a drink at the nearby chic and cosmopolitan restaurant-bar.
