In Stavroupolis, where Nestos, the river of Life, peacefully flows next to the traditional settlement, is the home of the stonebuilt Arhodiko Traditional Guesthouse. A renovated mansion built in the 1920, which was affectionately refurbished and brought back to its original state, but enjoys all modern facilities. It is built amphitheatrically in a landscape dotted with firs and spruces, walnuts and limes. It overlooks the river Nestos and the traditional village of Stavroupoli (the villages central square is only 5 minutes away on foot).

The stone build courtyard is fashioned in many levels and filled with firs, walnut and lime trees as well as other varieties of the local flora. Here you may enjoy your breakfast in tranquility or relish a cup of coffee as you gaze upon the splendid view of river Nestos and the traditional settlement of Stavroupolis. During the evening, the atmosphere becomes enchanted as the light highlights the rivers rock.

Stavroupolis is build next to river Nestos, overlooking it amphitheatrically. This is the renowned region with the famous Nestorochoria (villages of Nestos) in the valley of the river and Rodopi mountain range. Stavroupolis stands at the crossroad of three prefectures (Xanthi, Kavala, Drama), and its history dates back to long-forgotten years. The settlement is very well preserved and full of narrow streets, alleyways, stone fountains, mansions and well-renovated buildings.

The Mansion has three bedrooms in total. The ground floor consists of a large open space, a living and drawing room, fitted with a fireplace and a double bed, sleeping room, kitchen and a bathroom fitted with a Jacuzzi. The upper floor consists of two spacious double bedrooms, a living room with a fireplace and a kitchen, where breakfast can be served. The rooms of the guesthouse are fitted with traditional furniture, but include modern amenities, such as television, autonomous heating, Jacuzzi and others. We have aspired to give every room a unique decorative touch. Our guesthouse awaits you, to make you feel as if you were at home.
